Barcelona – Levante

Aiming to bring the title back to Camp Nou, Barcelona are ready to make another step against Levante at the Camp Nou in the Catalan capital.

The convincing leader is looking towards its 15th win since the start of the campaign. Barca are 1st in La Liga at the moment, having 9 points advantage in front of Atletico Madrid. This is a great first season for the new manager Ernesto Valverde, who changed things for good since he replaced Luis Enrique on helm.

Barcelona are the only unbeaten team in La Liga at this moment. Los Cules have record of 14 wins and 3 defeats, which makes them the best team in the country at this moment. They proved this last week, when they enjoyed an amazing 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the Spanish El Classico. It was a masterful performance by Barca. Blaugranas didn’t leave any chances for Real Madrid to react.

Now they will try to do the job once again versus Levante. The Valencians are 16th in La Liga, being on just three points ahead of Deportivo La Coruna and the relegation zone. Levante really need to step up their game until the end of the season, if they want to be sure about their survival. But can they take something from Barca at the Camp Nou? Well, one thing is for sure – this would be extremely difficult.

During the week Barcelona made a 1-1 draw against Celta for the Copa del Rey. The club’s record signing Ousmane Dembele made a comeback in this clash, so we shall expect to see him once again on the pitch. Maybe in the starting line-up? Well, only Valverde knows this.

For Levante it’s clear that they don’t have anything to lose against Barcelona. Let’s see what they can do.
